In Touch Catches Up With 1995 Grantee
As the 2009 Grant cycle approaches (online application available Aug. 1!) we take time to catch up with one of the first Foundation Grantees -- Eastern New York State Amateur Soccer Association (ENYSSA).
In 1995 the ENYSSA received a U.S. Soccer Foundation grant to help support the development of a 3-field facility in Brooklyn, New York. Not only did Rapaglia and his association build this facility; since receiving the grant, the ENYSSA has quadrupled in membership. An organization comprised of just 7 leagues back in 1995, the ENYSSA now includes over 30 leagues, with upwards of 600 teams spread across New York. More
